Riyad Bank, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Corporate Settlement Team Leader to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring the efficient and compliant processing of corporate settlement activities within the bank.

Role Summary

The Corporate Settlement Team Leader is responsible for leading the execution of all corporate settlement activities. This involves ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant processing of internal settlement transactions, proactively resolving operational exceptions, and coordinating effectively with various internal stakeholders. The role is critical in maintaining operational efficiency in strict adherence to established policies, service levels, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the timely and accurate execution of Corporate Banking settlement activities in accordance with established operational procedures and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Ensure all Corporate settlement transactions are processed completely, accurately, and within defined timelines.
• Monitor settlement exceptions, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate timely resolution with relevant internal stakeholders.
• Escalate critical issues impacting settlement activities and recommend corrective actions to minimize operational risk.
• Coordinate with Corporate Banking, Finance, Treasury, Technology, Payment Operations, and other internal functions to facilitate smooth settlement processes.
• Support cross-functional initiatives that impact Corporate settlement operations.
• Implement day-to-day operations assigned for the Settlement function, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by management.

Operational Governance and Continuous Improvement

This role requires a strong commitment to operational governance and continuous improvement. The Team Leader will:

• Implement approved departmental policies, processes, and procedures, providing instructions to subordinates and monitoring adherence to ensure controlled work execution.
• Ensure settlement activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and operational control standards.
• Maintain appropriate operational controls to safeguard transaction accuracy and process integrity.
• Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, considering international best practices, business process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the department.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Corporate Settlement Team Leader position should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in corporate settlement operations or a similar financial services role. A proven track record in leading teams and managing complex financial transactions is highly valued.
