The Role of Counterfeit Investigation & Enforcement Manager

Hadkan is seeking a Counterfeit Investigation & Enforcement Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site position responsible for leading investigations into counterfeit activities, meticulously gathering and analyzing evidence, and coordinating enforcement actions with brand owners and the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations into counterfeit activities.
  • Gather and analyze evidence related to counterfeiting.
  • Coordinate enforcement actions with brand owners and the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property (SAIP).
  • Plan and execute market surveys to identify counterfeit trends.
  • Monitor high-risk channels for potential counterfeit activities.
  • Prepare detailed reports on investigation findings and enforcement outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all cases and operations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement, regulatory agencies, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Guide internal teams and external partners on best practices in IP and brand protection.
  • Develop preventive strategies to mitigate counterfeiting risks.
  • Track case outcomes and evaluate the effectiveness of enforcement efforts.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of investigation and enforcement processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5-10 years of prior experience in Brand Protection (BP), IP enforcement, compliance, or law enforcement is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex investigations and coordinate effective enforcement actions.
  • Strong analytical skills for evidence gathering and assessment.

Work Environment and Travel

This is an on-site position based in Riyadh. The role requires regular engagement with field operations, market visits, and direct interaction with external stakeholders. Occasional travel to different cities within Saudi Arabia or abroad may be required based on operational needs and case requirements.
