Country Head Senior Vice President

About the Role

State Street is seeking a Country Head/CEO for Saudi Arabia, at the Senior Vice President level. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and involves leading the firm's Investment Services and Investment Management strategy within the Kingdom. The position requires establishing and growing client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining robust product solutions to support future growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive and execute State Street’s Investment Services and Investment Management strategy in Saudi Arabia.
• Act as CEO of State Street Saudi Arabia Financial Solutions (SSSAFS), ensuring compliance with regulatory and legal expectations.
• Oversee all State Street divisions in Saudi Arabia, ensuring best practices and adherence to corporate governance standards.
• Manage State Street’s relationship with key government and regulatory bodies, acting as the public representative for the firm.
• Oversee the execution of the "One State Street" 5-year Strategic Plan, aiming to triple revenues by end of 2028 and establish local product offerings.
• Leverage established public and private sector relationships to support Vision 2030 and State Street’s role in the Kingdom's development.

Managerial Duties

• Execute a country-level strategy for State Street’s IS & IM businesses and foster a "One State Street" culture.
• Assume local ownership of services delivered, collaborating with functional leadership to ensure excellent client service.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with locally-based clients, management companies, and government entities.
• Manage a pipeline of new business prospects and cross-sell new products in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Relationship Management.
• Ensure the Saudi team meets client service, operational risk management, and local regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to and meet or exceed sales and expense management financial targets.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives, advocating for actions that enhance the employer value proposition, including Inclusion, Diversity & Equity.
• Lead and chair the Country Leadership team and relevant risk and legal entity committees.
• Represent State Street Saudi on regional and global committees and working groups.
• Oversee corporate functions teams in Saudi Arabia.
• Ensure all Saudi legal entities adopt corporate governance and organizational standards.
• Act as a role model for enterprise-consistent cultures and behaviors in Saudi Arabia.
• Enhance State Street’s relationship with regulators and government policymakers through dialogue and industry forums.
• Represent State Street in the business community and industry organizations to enhance its profile and reputation.
