The Role of Cyber Security Engineer

Marid is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to manage the information security function in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role encompasses security operations, risk management, and compliance with SAMA's Cyber Security Framework. The position offers direct ownership of security outcomes and a clear progression path within information security leadership as the company expands.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cyber security policies, procedures, and standards in alignment with SAMA's Cyber Security Framework.
• Conduct cyber security risk assessments, including identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing risks across systems and processes.
• Monitor security operations, manage incident response, and lead vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
• Maintain necessary documentation for SAMA compliance reporting and audits.
• Deliver security awareness training to staff members.
• Conduct third-party and vendor security reviews as Marid's vendor and cloud footprint expands.
• Report directly to leadership on Marid's security posture and roadmap.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong sense of ownership over security outcomes and be accountable for ensuring accuracy and effectiveness from policy development to practical implementation. This role requires 0-1 years of experience.
