Role Overview

ES Consulting is seeking two Cybersecurity Architecture Specialists to join a resident cybersecurity team. These contract positions are based on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting a leading government entity. Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity architecture.

About the Role

The Cybersecurity Architecture Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the security posture of various environments by conducting thorough architecture reviews and applying robust security-by-design principles. This role involves identifying potential risks, providing expert guidance, and contributing to the strategic development of security architecture within the supported entity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security architecture reviews across application, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Apply security-by-design principles and review design outputs for compliance with established policies and standards.
• Perform threat modeling to identify potential security risks in new solutions and systems.
• Review network segmentation and firewall change requests to ensure security integrity.
• Assess external integrations, APIs, and cloud services for adherence to security compliance requirements.
• Provide design guidance on critical security concepts such as segmentation, isolation, and Zero Trust architectures.
• Document findings with clear, risk-based remediation guidance and contribute to the overall security architecture roadmap.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A strong background in application, cloud, and infrastructure security.
• Practical experience implementing Zero Trust principles and modern authentication solutions.
• Ability to effectively advise both technical teams and senior management on security matters.
• Demonstrated strong documentation skills.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in a relevant cybersecurity architecture role.

Preferred Certifications

Candidates holding one or more of the following certifications are preferred:

• SABSA
• TOGAF
• CISSP
• CCSP
• GIAC GCSA

Work Setting

This is an on-site contract position located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working directly with a resident cybersecurity team to support a government entity.
