The Role: Cybersecurity Specialist (GRC & Operations)

WePay is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist (GRC & Operations) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The specialist will support the development, implementation, and monitoring of WePay’s cybersecurity framework. This role is essential for protecting the company's systems, data, customers, and operations, while ensuring compliance with SAMA and NCA requirements as WePay continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a cybersecurity program aligned with SAMA and NCA requirements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity and GRC matters with external partners.
• Support responses to SAMA inquiries and observations, ensuring timely closure of identified gaps.
• Review cybersecurity policies, procedures, and controls, recommending improvements as needed.
• Monitor systems, applications, and networks for potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct risk assessments and track findings along with corrective actions.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and subsequent remediation efforts.
• Investigate cybersecurity incidents, thoroughly documenting findings and actions taken.
• Review access controls, privileged access, and multi-factor authentication configurations.
• Prepare cybersecurity reports, audit evidence, and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance cybersecurity awareness and resilience across the organization.

Required Qualifications and Attributes

• 0-1 years of professional experience in cybersecurity or a related field.
• Demonstrated high integrity and sound judgment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of work.
• Capable of working independently within a growing startup environment.
