Data Center Training Specialist

About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking a Data Center Training Specialist to join its AWS Infrastructure Services team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves delivering internal and external education and training programs to support the operational growth of AWS data centers. The specialist will report to the Manager of Customer Success for APJC and EMEA.

Role Context and Objectives

The Data Center Training Specialist, also known as a Customer Success Engineer (CSE), will contribute to the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure. This position is central to creating educational and training mechanisms that ensure the availability of required talent, training, and skills at the appropriate time, location, and level to support cluster expansion. The CSE acts as the primary liaison between Data Center Learning and its internal and external customers, tracking key metrics and ensuring data accuracy for their assigned clusters.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning & Development: Develop and execute education, pre-skilling, talent pipeline, and training readiness strategies in collaboration with local AWS partners. Forecast future skill requirements and design programs for emerging needs, building scalable frameworks for regional program expansion.
• Program Design & Implementation: Design training programs to address identified skill gaps and create measurable learning pathways for data center operations careers. Implement blended learning solutions, including classroom, online, and hands-on training, and develop frameworks for progressive career pathways within the cluster.
• Stakeholder Management & Alliance Building: Build and maintain strategic relationships with educational institutions, government agencies, and industry partners. Support expansion into new locations by engaging with cluster leadership to establish training programs during launch and expansion phases. Facilitate collaboration among multiple stakeholders and manage complex partner relationships.
• Performance Measurement & Analytics: Establish KPI frameworks for DC Learning education and training programs, implement data collection and analysis processes, and track program effectiveness and ROI. Conduct regular program assessments and adjustments, and create reporting frameworks for various stakeholder groups.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Research and implement best practices in workforce development, leverage data analytics for program improvements, and identify and test new approaches to talent development. Scale successful initiatives across regions.
