The Role: Data Privacy Expert

Nextwo Co. is seeking an experienced Data Privacy Expert to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is offered on a part-time or consultancy basis. Given that Nextwo handles sensitive enterprise, government, and financial data across its SaaS and CPaaS platforms, ensuring robust data privacy and compliance is paramount. The successful candidate will guide product and engineering teams to ensure all products comply with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and other relevant data privacy regulations.

Core Responsibilities

• Assess and ensure Nextwo's products and internal operations comply with the Saudi PDPL and applicable international data privacy standards, such as GDPR.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to embed privacy-by-design principles into software architecture, particularly for platforms managing biometric data and messaging infrastructure.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new and existing products to identify and mitigate potential privacy risks.
• Review, update, and draft data privacy policies, consent forms, and data processing agreements tailored to the company's business model.

Essential Data Privacy Expertise

• Proven expertise in data privacy laws and regulations, with deep knowledge of the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).
• Experience working with technology companies, SaaS platforms, or cloud service providers.
• Strong understanding of data security principles, API integrations, and cloud infrastructure privacy requirements.
• Relevant certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT are highly desirable.

Communication and Collaboration Skills

• Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Ability to clearly explain complex legal and privacy requirements to technical engineering teams.

Work Arrangement and Location
