About the Role

NuSummit Cybersecurity is seeking a Data Privacy Consultant to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed to support clients in developing and maintaining robust privacy governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and enhancing their overall enterprise privacy programs.

Role Purpose

The Data Privacy Consultant will assist clients directly in implementing essential privacy controls, conducting comprehensive privacy assessments, and ensuring strict compliance with Saudi privacy and cybersecurity regulations. This role requires a professional with a solid understanding of data protection principles and practical experience in their application.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of enterprise privacy governance frameworks.
• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).
• Develop privacy policies, standards, procedures, and data handling guidelines.
• Perform privacy compliance assessments and gap analyses.
• Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
• Support data discovery, classification, and retention initiatives.
• Assist in third-party privacy risk assessments.
• Support privacy audits and regulatory reviews.
• Participate in privacy incident management and breach response activities.
• Deliver privacy awareness sessions and compliance reporting.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, HR, and IT teams on privacy initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should possess 2 to 5 years of experience in data privacy, cybersecurity, or a related field. A proven background in supporting privacy programs, conducting assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance is essential.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The consultant will work within a dynamic environment, collaborating with various client teams and internal stakeholders to address complex data privacy challenges.
