The Role of DevOps Engineer

Naseej is seeking a DevOps Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to support application deployment, monitoring, automation, and production environments. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires practical knowledge of DevOps tools and technologies, including Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring, logging, and scripting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support application deployment and maintenance across various environments.
• Monitor live applications and production environments.
• Manage and support Docker containers.
• Assist with Kubernetes (K8s) deployments and operations.
• Support Test Automation activities and automated testing processes.
• Monitor application performance and identify potential issues.
• Perform Linux (Ubuntu) administration and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot application, deployment, and environment-related issues.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Infrastructure teams.
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement of DevOps processes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in DevOps, IT Operations, or a related technical role.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps concepts and practices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and basic Kubernetes (K8s).
• Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and alerting.
• Experience with Test Automation.
• Basic understanding of Monitoring and Logging concepts.
• Good Bash/Shell Scripting skills.
• Experience with Linux, preferably Ubuntu.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
