About The Ritz-Carlton Diriyah

The Ritz-Carlton Diriyah, located in Diriyah, Riyadh, is a new addition to The Ritz-Carlton portfolio. This property combines the heritage of its UNESCO-recognised location with contemporary hospitality standards. The hotel is currently in its pre-opening phase.

Role Summary

The Ritz-Carlton Diriyah is seeking a Director of Human Resources for its pre-opening team. This full-time role involves joining the Executive Committee to lead human resources functions and strategy. The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the General Manager and functionally to the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources. This position is central to developing the hotel's culture, talent, and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive Human Resources strategy aligned with property goals, brand priorities, and business objectives.
Lead talent acquisition, workforce planning, succession management, and leadership pipeline development across the hotel.
Champion associate engagement initiatives, including survey action planning, recognition programs, and culture-building activities.
Partner with department leaders to strengthen performance management, coaching, learning, and career development practices.
Drive staffing optimisation and recruitment strategies that support operational excellence and future growth.
Lead compensation and benefits initiatives, ensuring competitiveness, internal equity, and alignment with organisational priorities.
Serve as a key change leader for organisational and people-related initiatives, supporting successful adoption and execution.
Build relationships with ownership representatives, regional HR leaders, and key stakeholders, providing insights on talent, retention, and workforce performance.

Required Experience

Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in Human Resources.
Experience in a leadership role within the hospitality sector is preferred.

Work Environment

This role operates within the Executive Committee of The Ritz-Carlton Diriyah, requiring a balance between business priorities and a people-focused approach. The position is based in Riyadh.
