The platform serves some of the largest mega-events in the Kingdom, having surpassed over 2 billion in sales. We are seeking a Director of Marketing & Brand to join our team in Riyadh for a full-time position.

Role Summary

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the daily performance of the marketing organization, encompassing brand management, campaign execution, content strategy, creative output, reporting, and team leadership. The Director will translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensure consistent high standards across all outputs, and deliver work with measurable impact. A primary objective is to cultivate a consistently proactive marketing approach, actively identifying cultural moments, audience opportunities, partnerships, unconventional activations, and guerrilla marketing ideas to maintain Webook's visibility, relevance, and market leadership. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires managing operational efficiency while continuously enhancing creativity and effectiveness within the marketing function.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day operation of the marketing organization, translating strategy into clear priorities, plans, timelines, and accountable owners.
• Lead campaign and content execution, ensuring work is delivered on brief, on time, within budget, and to the expected standard.
• Build a proactive pipeline of creative marketing ideas, cultural opportunities, guerrilla activations, partnerships, and brand moments.
• Act as the first line of leadership for the team, resolving delivery, performance, and operational issues before they escalate.
• Maintain brand consistency and creative quality across campaigns, content, social media, partnerships, PR, and customer communications.
• Own marketing reporting and performance visibility, providing clear insights, risks, recommendations, and actions without requiring follow-up.
• Manage senior team members, agencies, and external partners, holding them accountable for performance, quality, and delivery.
• Work closely with commercial, product, technology, partnerships, and regional teams to ensure marketing supports growth across KSA and international markets.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on operator who can create clarity, maintain momentum, and ensure work is completed to a high standard. This individual should be proactive and decisive, bringing solutions rather than unnecessarily escalating problems. The role requires the ability to challenge constructively, make difficult decisions, and balance creative ambition with operational realities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Director-level marketing leadership experience in a high-growth consumer, technology, entertainment, sports, media, or platform business.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage through senior managers.
• Strong track record in integrated campaigns, content, brand, social media, partnerships, PR, and experiential marketing.
• Highly creative, with the ability to develop unconventional, culturally relevant, and guerrilla-style marketing ideas.
• Commercially and analytically strong, with confidence in budgets, reporting, performance metrics, and marketing effectiveness.
