About the Role

First Access Consulting is seeking a Director of Sales and Business Development to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the company's sales and business development initiatives, driving revenue growth, and expanding market presence across key sectors. The Director will be instrumental in shaping strategic direction and achieving ambitious targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s Sales & Business Development strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Power, Energy, Water, Utilities, Infrastructure, EPC, and O&M sectors.
• Lead sales activities and drive annual revenue and order-intake targets.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and upcoming projects.
• Identify and pursue opportunities related to major Saudi Vision 2030 and infrastructure projects.
• Develop strong executive-level relationships with government entities, utilities, developers, consultants, EPC contractors, and key decision-makers.
• Lead client acquisition, commercial discussions, presentations, and negotiations.
• Develop capture strategies for major opportunities and support bid/no-bid decisions.
• Coordinate with proposal, technical, commercial, and project teams to develop competitive solutions and proposals.
• Establish strategic partnerships and alliances with EPC contractors, OEMs, technology providers, consultants, and investors.
• Negotiate strategic agreements, MOUs, framework agreements, and partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, upcoming tenders, client requirements, and investment opportunities.
• Support pricing strategies, commercial negotiations, contract reviews, and commercial risk assessment.
• Manage sales forecasts, CRM activities, opportunity pipelines, and executive sales reports.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales & Business Development team.
• Establish departmental KPIs and regularly monitor sales and business development performance.

Educational Background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• An MBA or postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Professional Experience and Skills

• 15+ years of relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, EPC, Power, Energy, Water, Utilities, or Infrastructure.
• Significant experience in a senior Sales or Business Development leadership position.
• Strong track record of securing major projects and contracts in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience managing large sales pipelines, commercial negotiations, and strategic accounts.

Market Expertise and Strategic Relationships

• Established network with government entities, utilities, developers, EPC contractors, consultants, and major industry stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of the Saudi market, Vision 2030 initiatives, and major infrastructure and energy projects.
