The Opportunity: Document Controls Manager

Parsons is seeking a Document Controls Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring over 10 years of experience. The role involves leading the Document Control department, ensuring project deliverables meet schedules, and providing technical guidance and support to staff and program team members.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance to lower-level staff within the Document Control department.
Prioritize, assign, and monitor workload to ensure project deliverables adhere to schedules.
Establish clear work standards and goals for staff.
Conduct training and development, review work, complete performance evaluations, and provide employee counseling and corrective action as needed.
Resolve non-routine help desk issues and inquiries related to document controls, such as access problems.
Provide on-demand request services to the Project Manager, delivery order managers, functional group leads, and staff, including labor forecast reports and customized electronic libraries in SharePoint.
Identify and coordinate document control resources to support program team members and serve as a liaison to client counterparts.
Administer and maintain mailbox traffic, electronic documentation, incoming record logs, project library, distribution lists, and permissions and security groups.
Provide backup support to document control staff for processing daily incoming mailbox traffic and maintain SharePoint libraries and the document control website, including daily purging and archiving.
Perform quality checks by sampling processed incoming traffic and help desk inquiries for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
Provide document control orientation briefings and materials to new hires.
Offer training and guidance to document control staff and program team members on software tools and resources, including informal training sessions on program forms and templates.
Conduct goal plan review meetings with staff.
Establish document control responsibilities for delivery order start-up, close-out, and prime contract close-out.
Perform other associated responsibilities as appropriate.

Required Experience and Skills

A minimum of 10+ years of experience in document control or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance and leadership to a team.
Proficiency in managing document control systems and processes.
Experience with SharePoint for collaboration and document management.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh. The role involves working within a dynamic team environment, supporting various program members and liaising with clients.
