The Role: Drafting Coordinator EPP

Veolia Water Technologies is seeking a Drafting Coordinator EPP to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and involves coordinating and managing CADD workflows, ensuring quality standards, and supporting engineering design processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, and oversee computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) workflows for both 3D and 2D software models.
• Review rough sketches and supervise the production of detailed work using CADD systems.
• Lead the preparation, review, and redrafting processes in close coordination with the engineering team.
• Manage, maintain, and audit drawing archives and organized records, ensuring proper documentation of all revisions, updates, and transmittals.
• Assist, participate, and coordinate in the compilation of basic process design data; finalize process scheme and equipment selection.
• Act as the primary liaison to assist design engineers for process and design.
• Carry out, review, and approve process and detailed designs, specifically for piping and gas.
• Prepare and verify preliminary designs, drawings, detailed drawings, and fabrication details.
• Participate with the design engineer in the final selection of process, plant, and equipment.
• Liaise actively with project and proposals engineers to ensure smooth implementation of design; carry out design checks and certification as required.
• Oversee product standardization and manage project engineering documentation systems.
• Carry out any other duties related to the area of expertise as assigned by the design manager or designee.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards and guaranteeing team deliverables.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software for 3D and 2D models.

QHSE and Ethical Commitments

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing QHSE policies and ISO Procedures, adhering to safety rules, and ensuring compliance with Veolia’s specific sustainable development commitments. This includes following road traffic rules, maintaining office safety, and reporting any workplace issues. Additionally, compliance with applicable ethics and legislation referred to in the Veolia Code of Conduct policy, particularly regarding the fight against corruption and influence peddling, is mandatory.
