Electrical Technical Engineer Senior (Technical/QC)

About the Role

Jobskey is seeking an Electrical Technical Engineer - Senior (Technical/QC) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves reviewing and validating electrical design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for high-rise tower systems, ensuring compliance with approved designs and site conditions. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate electrical design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings for high-rise tower systems.
• Prepare and coordinate electrical shop drawings, ensuring compliance with the approved design intent, BIM-coordinated model, and site conditions.
• Prepare and maintain As-Built drawings for electrical works for record, close-out, and O&M handover purposes.
• Prepare and verify BOQ take-offs for electrical works to support procurement, tendering, and evaluation of variations/change orders.
• Perform technical/QC reviews of electrical installations (power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, low-current, BMS interfaces) against approved design and codes.
• Support BIM coordination for electrical services, ensuring clash-free integration with other disciplines.
• Review vendor technical submittals, material approvals, and equipment datasheets.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site electrical engineers on complex installation issues.

Compliance and Quality Assurance

• Ensure compliance with SEC requirements, the Saudi Building Code, NFPA, and other applicable international electrical standards.
• Participate in technical inspections, witness testing, and commissioning reviews.
• Prepare technical evaluation reports and recommendations for non-conformances.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant electrical engineering role.
• Demonstrated experience in reviewing and validating electrical design and shop drawings.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination for electrical services.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards, including SEC, Saudi Building Code, and NFPA.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on high-rise tower projects. The role requires collaboration with various teams and adherence to stringent technical and quality control standards.
