Job Purpose and Responsibilities

The primary purpose of this role is to develop comprehensive electrical system designs and schematics. Key responsibilities include analyzing project requirements, developing and testing electrical systems, and ensuring all designs meet technical specifications and project objectives while optimizing performance and cost. This involves providing innovative solutions that are both efficient and reliable.

Design and Development Activities

• Creating detailed electrical system designs, schematics, and layouts that align with project specifications and industry standards.
• Conducting electrical load calculations, system simulations, and performance analyses to ensure designs are efficient, reliable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.

Documentation, Compliance, and Collaboration

• Preparing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Ensuring all designs comply with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Collaborating with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with other project components.
• Communicating with clients to understand their needs, offer technical advice, and present design concepts.

Problem-Solving and Continuous Improvement

This role requires identifying and resolving design issues, performing system testing, and providing solutions to technical challenges during the implementation phase.
