About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking a Project Engineer, Transmission Line to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing the complete lifecycle of high-voltage transmission line projects, ensuring their safe and efficient delivery in compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The position requires 6-10 years of experience in the field.

Role Purpose and Scope

The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, and overseeing high-voltage transmission line projects, including both Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL) and Underground Cable (UGC) systems. This role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in full compliance with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards, project specifications, and industry best practices. The Project Engineer acts as the technical and project management focal point between clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective execution of all project phases for transmission projects ranging from 220kV to 500kV, with a particular emphasis on 380kV systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-voltage transmission line projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution.
• Provide technical leadership throughout all project phases, including route selection, design review, construction supervision, risk management, quality assurance, safety compliance, stakeholder coordination, and project closeout.
• Apply extensive knowledge in both overhead and underground power line systems.
• Utilize expertise with 380kV systems to enhance project outcomes.
• Uphold safety and quality standards across all project phases.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6-10 years of experience in managing high-voltage transmission line projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in transmission line engineering, construction methodologies, and contract administration.
• Strong understanding of Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) standards and industry best practices.
• Experience with projects ranging from 220kV to 500kV, with specific knowledge of 380kV systems.
