Role Summary

The Enterprise Architecture and Business Analysis Lead will manage the Data & Analytics function, overseeing the development and operation of data pipelines, storage, integrations, dashboards, and reporting. This role is responsible for providing trusted, accessible, and actionable insights to support university decision-making. The Lead will coordinate data strategy, service performance, and continuous improvement in alignment with D&T priorities and institutional needs. This is a full-time position located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of the Data Ai & Innovation business plan by providing inputs related to Data Operations & Analytics.
• Manage the development of data strategy, including use cases, infrastructure requirements, and integration mechanisms.
• Assist in the implementation of D&T projects and initiatives by executing specific tasks related to Data Operations & Analytics.
• Prepare and execute detailed action plans to achieve Data Operations & Analytics operational goals.
• Track and report on the progress of tasks within Data Operations & Analytics to D&T leadership.
• Participate in the Data Operations & Analytics budgeting cycle and ensure effective utilization of the budget.
• Provide input for the development and review of D&T policies, processes, guidelines, and procedures related to Data Operations & Analytics.
• Implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficiency, transparency, and accountability in data analytics and operations.
• Manage day-to-day project activities and contribute to detailed project plans and schedules.
• Supervise vendor/partner work to ensure adherence to cost, timeline, and quality standards.
• Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Manage and optimize data storage solutions, including data warehouses and lakes.
• Develop and deliver interactive dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analytics.
• Coordinate with the DMO to ensure data quality frameworks and governance policies are applied.
• Administer the data catalogue and metadata, onboard datasets, and manage master and reference data.
• Monitor data operations performance, service issues, and delivery risks, coordinating corrective actions.

People Management

• Train subordinates on job activities to facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Provide clear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility, and monitor workflow.
• Support subordinates in executing duties according to established policies and processes.
• Escalate potential issues or grievances from team members to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead data and analytics functions.
• Experience in developing and implementing data strategies.
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Experience with data storage solutions, including data warehouses and lakes.
• Skilled in developing interactive dashboards and reports for decision-making.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and governance policies.
