About the Opportunity

Edgesetter Consulting Service is seeking an experienced Environmental Health Safety Specialist to join our team for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to ensuring safety standards on a significant Transmission Line Project, contributing to the successful execution of critical infrastructure development.

Role Overview

The Environmental Health Safety Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive HSE protocols and procedures specifically tailored for a large-scale power transmission infrastructure project. This position requires a professional dedicated to maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry best practices throughout the project lifecycle in Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Health Safety policies and procedures for the Transmission Line Project.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to established safety standards.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending effective corrective actions.
• Provide HSE training and guidance to project personnel to foster a strong safety culture and ensure awareness of safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations, as well as project-specific requirements and client standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience as an HSE or Safety professional.
• Demonstrated experience within the Transmission Line or Power Transmission industry is essential.
• International experience is mandatory for this role, reflecting exposure to diverse safety standards and practices.
