Executive Quantity Surveyor MRICS

About the Role

Gleeds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is seeking an Executive Quantity Surveyor MRICS to support an iconic giga program in Riyadh. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and involves developing a career in a professional environment, focusing on quantity surveying and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivering post-contract commercial management services.
• Managing projects to ensure high-quality services and deliverables in accordance with Gleeds procedures.
• Engaging with clients and developing, growing, and maintaining client relationships.
• Ensuring cost management deliverables meet client requirements.
• Valuing completed work and arranging payments.
• Providing senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues related to construction projects.
• Administering contracts as a Contract Administrator or Employer’s Agent.
• Producing and presenting reports to clients.
• Advising Directors promptly of any current or potential project issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• MRICS or FRICS Chartered qualification is required.
• Minimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience in all aspects of quantity surveying.
• At least 3 years of experience in Saudi Arabia.
• At least 3 years of experience with a consultancy organization.
• Demonstrated experience operating as a Senior Commercial Manager on giga building projects.
• Experience with giga-scale building projects, including hospitality and education sectors.

Required Skills

• Sound knowledge and practical experience in post-contract commercial management.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
