About the Role

Alfanar is seeking a Maintenance Foreman to lead maintenance operations on an active construction site in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time, field-based role involves overseeing the maintenance of generators, pumps, and heavy equipment, working closely with a crew to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the generator fleet, including brands such as FG Wilson and Caterpillar, managing servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate fuel logs for generators, tower lights, and site vehicles.
• Manage maintenance and breakdown support for heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and JCBs, as well as road sweepers (Scarab or similar) and air compressors, coordinating with operators and suppliers as needed.
• Perform basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Supervise day and night shift maintenance crews, assign daily priorities, and ensure work is completed to consistent standards.
• Maintain maintenance logbooks, track meter hours, and manage spare parts inventory.
• Carry out all repair work in accordance with site safety procedures, including permit-to-work and lockout/tagout protocols.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers on equipment-related matters.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in maintenance operations, particularly with generators, pumps, and heavy equipment on construction sites.

Technical Competencies

• Proficiency in Mechanical Diagnostics Systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and collision repairs.
• Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance practices.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.

Work Environment

This is a field-based position requiring hands-on involvement with maintenance crews and equipment on an active construction site in Riyadh.
