Fraud Officer

About the Role

Atmaal is seeking a Fraud Officer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position focused on monitoring and mitigating potential fraud risks within financial operations. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying suspicious activities and ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage alerts generated by fraud monitoring systems to identify, investigate, and mitigate potential fraud risks.
• Review customer records and transaction activity to identify suspicious patterns or behavior.
• Investigate and process fraud alerts in accordance with internal procedures and guidelines.
• Contact customers to verify suspicious or potentially fraudulent transactions.
• Provide immediate feedback on system performance issues, including errors, downtime, slowness, or inefficiencies.
• Receive and respond to fraud-related communications from local banks and other financial institutions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, including customers and management, in urgent or high-risk cases.
• Immediately escalate critical risks and unresolved issues to the direct manager.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Financial Fraud or Fraud Monitoring.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive cases professionally.

Work Environment

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time schedule. The Fraud Officer will work within a dedicated team focused on maintaining financial security and integrity.
