About the Role

RWS is seeking Generative Audio Evaluation Specialists to participate in a specialized evaluation project. This freelance position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focuses on assessing the performance of a cutting-edge generative audio model. The role offers an entry point into ongoing work within one of the most active AI markets, with a compensation rate of 10 USD per hour.

Project Context

The primary objective of this project is to test and evaluate a generative audio model. Specialists will play a key role in identifying performance issues and providing feedback essential for model improvement. This work involves detailed assessment of AI-generated audio for various tasks, including short video and text-to-audio applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess speech, background music, and sound effects for clarity, quality, and naturalness in AI-generated audio.
• Evaluate the synchronization between generated audio and video content, including lip-sync and timing accuracy.
• Verify that generated audio accurately adheres to provided text captions and task-specific requirements.
• Determine if generated voices sound natural and, when applicable, match reference audio samples.
• Assign accurate scores and identify specific issues in accordance with established evaluation guidelines.

Application and Qualification Process

Candidates will proceed through a structured qualification process designed to ensure suitability for the project. This process includes an initial application, a screening survey, and language knowledge assessments in both the target language and English. Successful candidates will then undergo RWS Vendor Onboarding, followed by internal project-specific testing such as TTS Evaluation, Audio Evaluation, or Transcription Testing.

Vendor Type

Applicants are required to select the option that best describes their working status. A Freelancer typically possesses a business license and may have a VAT number or EIN for tax purposes. A Private Individual does not hold a business license. If uncertain, applicants should generally select "Private Individual."
