About the Geospatial Image Annotation Specialist Role

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of this role is to accurately label and annotate diverse imagery datasets, specifically satellite and aerial imagery. The specialist will work within a focused environment to prepare essential data for real-world artificial intelligence and mapping projects, ensuring precision and quality in all annotation tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Label and annotate various imagery datasets, including satellite and aerial imagery.
Utilize CVAT (Computer Vision Annotation Tool) as the primary platform for annotation.
Employ basic GIS tools to support and enhance geospatial annotation tasks.
Maintain a high level of precision and focus throughout all annotation activities.
Contribute to the foundational data preparation for AI and mapping projects.

Qualifications and Experience

0-1 years of professional experience.
Demonstrated comfort and proficiency in using computers and web-based tools.
Ability to perform precise and focused work consistently.
No programming experience is required for this position.
