The Role of Governance and Risk Analyst

Namaa Partners is expanding its governance and risk practice in Saudi Arabia and is seeking a Governance and Risk Analyst. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires 0-1 years of experience. In this role, the analyst will assist family enterprises and corporate groups in defining decision-making authorities. This involves reviewing board and committee charters, mapping delegations of authority, and maintaining up-to-date risk registers with assigned risk owners.

Key Responsibilities

• Review board and committee charters, by-laws, and policies, identifying gaps and overlaps.
• Map delegations of authority across a group's holding company and operating companies.
• Build and update risk registers with risk owners, including ratings, controls, and actions.
• Compare client arrangements with the CMA Corporate Governance Regulations where applicable.
• Prepare papers and summaries for board and committee meetings.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, remote position available from anywhere in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with the primary location being Riyadh. The Namaa Partners team is based in Oklahoma City, which operates eight to nine hours behind Riyadh. Consequently, some calls will occur during the evening hours for the Riyadh-based analyst.
