The Role of Group AI Enablement Lead

The Group AI Enablement Lead will drive the group-wide AI agenda, transitioning from strategic planning to the implementation and regular use of AI agents in production. This role is situated within the Group's Strategy & Performance Office, working directly with executive leadership and the heads of all subsidiaries and shared functions. This is an operational role focused on tangible delivery, not a research or advisory position. Performance will be measured by live agents, demonstrable cost reductions in processes, and actual adoption by leaders.

Key Responsibilities in the First 12 Months

• Implement the initial wave of AI agents across finance, procurement, bids, government portals, and customer experience. Each agent will have a designated owner, service level, controls, and an audit trail.
• Establish a cost-per-transaction baseline for each process prior to automation and report on achieved savings.
• Deploy leadership agents for executives and managers, focusing on driving consistent weekly adoption rather than just license counts.
• Develop agent specifications and evaluation sets, and approve or reject builds from the internal technology team.
• Collaborate with Legal and Internal Audit to establish the AI governance model, addressing data access by role, PDPL compliance, SDAIA AI ethics principles, and NCA controls.
• Build and develop a network of process owners and AI champions across the group.
• Transform the internal AI program into a reference case for Tharwah's Workforce AI Enablement offering for clients.

Qualifications and Experience

• Over 10 years of experience, including at least two operating-model or process transformations where technology was successfully implemented and adoption measured.
• Practical experience in building AI agents or LLM-based workflows for real-world use, encompassing prompts, tool utilization, evaluation, and failure handling. Candidates should be able to demonstrate their work.
• Strong process architecture skills, from policy and procedure development to workflow and ERP configuration.
• A proven track record of influencing changes in how middle managers operate, supported by data.
• Ability to construct business cases and monitor achieved savings.
• Professional fluency in both Arabic and English, with credibility among senior Saudi executives.

Desired Attributes

• Experience in shared services, finance operations, or HR operations transformation.
• Proficiency with Odoo or other major ERP systems (*, SAP, Oracle) at a process or configuration level.
• Experience within a listed company or regulated environment.
• A background in consulting or professional services combined with in-house delivery experience.
