This model integrates digital star teachers into school buildings, enhancing learning through peer interaction and AI. Following successful pilot programs, Noon Academy has expanded its presence to 18 private and 10 public schools, where the hybrid approach has been well-received by students.

Role Overview

Noon Academy is seeking a Head of Product & Design to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to the company's objective of scaling its student base from 1,000 to 10,000 by 2027. The Head of Product & Design will be responsible for the entire product strategy, including setting direction, conducting experiments, and ensuring the creation of impactful learning experiences. This position requires direct involvement in shaping product development and rationale, working closely with engineering, learning, teaching staff, and in-school personnel. The incumbent will serve as the primary point of contact for the CEO regarding critical business and product inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Redefine the product vision and secure company-wide alignment.
• Establish company-level product priorities beyond roadmap management.
• Drive product outcomes and contribute to company OKRs, rather than solely focusing on feature delivery.
• Execute rapid, lean experiments by defining hypotheses, scoping Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), measuring results, and iterating.
• Collaborate directly with engineering and design teams to ensure quality and speed in product delivery.
• Utilize data analysis skills to pull insights and identify reliable signals independently.
• Cultivate strong product sense across the organization, influencing engineers, teachers, operations, and executives to enhance their understanding of users.
• Lead the growth and development of the product and design team.
• Manage situations with high ambiguity and complex execution simultaneously.

Required Qualifications

• Experience as an early hire at a startup with significant contributions to its success, or a proven track record of building products from inception.
• Demonstrated success in shipping consumer mobile products targeted at children, teenagers, or young adults, with evidence of tangible outcomes beyond product launches.
• Proficiency in data-driven operations, including the ability to form hypotheses, design tests, and interpret results without consistent support from a dedicated data team.
• Ability to establish trust and rapport with Saudi teenage students, with whom daily interaction is expected.

Work Environment and Location

This role requires a commitment to being based in Saudi Arabia for a minimum of six months per year, or full-time. The Head of Product & Design will work directly with students in Noon Academy's hybrid schools, receiving immediate and unfiltered feedback from teenagers on product ideas and implementations.
