About the Role

NAMI is seeking a Health Safety Environment Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and foster a culture of safety within the organization.

Role Overview

The HSE Engineer will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, monitoring workplace conditions, and leading incident investigations to identify and mitigate potential hazards. This position requires collaboration with various departments to integrate HSE best practices into operational processes, provide training and awareness programs, and support continuous improvement efforts aimed at enhancing workplace safety and environmental performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively assess and identify potential health, safety, and environmental risks associated with NAMI processes. Develop and implement comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on relevant HSE regulations and standards specific to the 3D printing industry. Ensure all operations comply with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Design and implement effective HSE policies and procedures tailored to NAMI facility's unique processes. Conduct regular policy reviews and updates.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on health, safety, and environmental practices related to 3D printing technology.
  • Lead thorough investigations of safety incidents, near misses, or environmental breaches. Analyze root causes, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
  • Establish and maintain a robust monitoring system to track HSE performance metrics. Compile and analyze data to prepare comprehensive reports for management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to integrate HSE considerations into all operations.
  • Develop and implement effective emergency response plans specific to process risks. Conduct regular drills and training sessions.
  • Foster continuous improvement by regularly reviewing and enhancing HSE practices based on feedback, incident analysis, and industry advancements.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience in a Health, Safety, and Environment role.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and programs.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, requiring active collaboration with various departments within the organization to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
