About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking a qualified and driven Health Safety Environment Officer to join its expanding team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves working across key infrastructure projects, ensuring high standards in delivery, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.

Role Context

The HSE Officer will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards on project sites. This position is critical for identifying potential hazards, implementing preventative measures, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols across various construction activities.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct daily site inspections to identify unsafe acts and conditions.
Ensure workers consistently use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including helmets, safety shoes, gloves, eye protection, and harnesses.
Inspect scaffolding, ladders, guardrails, lifelines, and fall-protection systems for compliance and safety.
Verify that construction equipment, lifting equipment, and tools are safely maintained and operated.
Monitor permit-to-work requirements for specific activities such as hot work, confined spaces, excavation, and working at height.

Qualifications and Experience

A qualified and driven professional in Health, Safety, and Environment.
0-1 year of experience in a related field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, involving work on key infrastructure projects. The role requires a proactive approach to site safety and collaboration with project teams and stakeholders.
