Hostess (Saudi National )

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Hostess to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals and requires 0-1 years of experience. The Hostess plays a key role in ensuring a positive first impression for guests and maintaining the smooth operation of the dining area.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and determine the number in their party.
• Seat guests efficiently at clean, available tables, ensuring proper setup with chairs pulled out and current menus provided.
• Guide guests through dining areas and offer assistance as needed.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, and organize seating for groups with special requirements.
• Verify that place settings are appropriate, including napkins, clean silverware, and all standard items.
• Inspect menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and free of wrinkles.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.

Operational Standards and Conduct

• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and support team goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• This position is designated for Saudi Nationals.

Additional Duties

The Hostess will perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors to support the overall operations of the dining establishment.
