HSE / Safety Officer

About the Role

First Gulf Company is seeking an experienced HSE / Safety Officer to support health, safety, and environmental requirements for a hospital/healthcare project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing the project HSE plan.
• Conducting risk assessments and managing permit-to-work procedures.
• Conducting toolbox talks and safety inductions.
• Performing site inspections.
• Conducting incident investigations.
• Coordinating fire-safety activities and emergency drills.
• Preparing and maintaining HSE statistics and reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Safety or Engineering.
• Mandatory: NEBOSH IGC or OSHA 30 certification.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in HSE.
• Experience in HSE within hospitals or healthcare facilities.
• Experience working in occupied clinical areas.

Required Knowledge

• Infection-Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) for maintenance works.
• Hazardous and medical waste management.
• Fire safety and emergency procedures.
• NFPA 101 Life Safety Code.
• CBAHI / JCI Environment of Care requirements.

Work Location

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position within a hospital/healthcare project setting.
