Role Overview

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Human Resources Director to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves leading comprehensive HR initiatives and fostering a positive work environment for hotel team members. The Director will also provide strategic coaching to the General Manager and the leadership team on all people-related issues.

Core Responsibilities

As Human Resources Director, key responsibilities include:

• Driving HR initiatives such as hiring, benefits administration, employee relations, and training programs.
• Ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for hotel team members.
• Promoting a positive team culture that supports the delivery of a unique guest experience.
• Creating programs designed to foster a positive work environment for all employees.
• Supporting and administering the annual team member satisfaction survey.
• Educating and training managers on HR disciplines to enhance productivity and performance.
• Conducting new team member orientation.
• Overseeing the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date personnel files and records for all employees.
• Ensuring adherence to hiring standards and relevant legal frameworks.
• Building and maintaining professional relationships with external contacts.

Required Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 5-10 years of experience in a human resources leadership role, preferably within the hospitality sector. This experience should demonstrate a strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and employee development.
