About the Role

RAWAJ, a leading Saudi company specializing in IT Infrastructure, IT Security, Telecommunications, System Integration, and Digital Transformation, is seeking an IBM Guardium Security Engineer. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on database security and data activity monitoring, supporting the implementation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of IBM Guardium solutions to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with security requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, monitor, and maintain IBM Guardium environments.
Monitor database activity and identify suspicious or unauthorized access.
Develop and manage Guardium policies, alerts, reports, and dashboards.
Support database discovery, classification, vulnerability assessment, and auditing activities.
Troubleshoot Guardium Collectors, Aggregators, S-TAPs, and related components.
Collaborate with database and cybersecurity teams to investigate and respond to security incidents.
Support compliance and audit requirements related to database security and data protection.
Prepare security reports and provide recommendations to strengthen database security.
Assist with Guardium upgrades, deployments, integrations, and ongoing maintenance.
Document configurations, procedures, incidents, troubleshooting activities, and technical changes.
Support the continuous improvement of database security monitoring and protection processes.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–2 years of hands-on experience with IBM Guardium or a similar Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) solution.
Basic understanding of database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of database security, auditing, access controls, and data protection.
Familiarity with IBM Guardium S-TAP, Collectors, policies, reporting, and monitoring.

Required Skills

Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to investigate database security events and identify potential security risks.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with SIEM integration and security monitoring.
Knowledge of DLP, DAM, vulnerability management, and security compliance frameworks.
Experience working within a cybersecurity service provider, SOC, or security operations environment.
Exposure to enterprise database security implementations and monitoring.
