About Si-Ware Systems and the Role

Si-Ware Systems is seeking an Inertial Solutions Systems Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time position is dedicated to supporting the validation and characterization of Si-Ware's inertial systems, focusing on ensuring the high performance and reliability of the company's products.

Role Purpose and Focus

The Inertial Solutions Systems Engineer will play a critical role in test automation, embedded design, hardware debugging, and comprehensive testing. This involves developing robust test strategies and performing detailed analysis to validate the functionality and integrity of inertial products from design through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test plans, scripts, and proprietary device drivers for high-speed data acquisition, control, and performance characterization.
• Utilize advanced laboratory equipment, including high-bandwidth Oscilloscopes, Logic/Protocol Analyzers, and Digital Multimeters (DMMs), to perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshoot signal integrity issues and communication protocol errors on Printed Circuit Boards.
• Process, clean, and analyze datasets generated from testing runs to derive meaningful insights.
• Review, trace, and debug C-based firmware to understand sensor logic, internal state machines, and calibration, with a focus on validating the correct implementation of digital interfaces like SPI and I2C communication protocols and register configurations.
• Create and maintain clear, high-quality technical documentation, including validation reports, test procedures, and bug reports, collaborating closely with design, firmware, and production teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• This role is open to Saudi Nationals in line with local employment regulations.
• Mandatory Engineer membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers (Engineer Grade category).
