The Role of Information Technology Specialist

Flooss is seeking an Information Technology Specialist for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves supporting the daily operations of the company's technology environment by maintaining reliable infrastructure, systems, and end-user services. The specialist will also contribute to technology projects that support lending operations and digital customer journeys, reporting to the IT Manager and collaborating with business users, the Cybersecurity team, and technology vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, and access-related issues.
• Log, prioritize, and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) using the IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.
• Escalate complex issues to the IT Manager or vendors and follow up until resolution.
• Administer and maintain servers, networks, cloud services, and end-user devices.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and email and collaboration platforms in line with access control policies.
• Perform routine system monitoring, backups, and patching, and support Disaster Recovery testing.
• Provide first and second-line support for core business applications, including loan management, onboarding, and collections platforms.
• Support integrations with external service providers and assist in troubleshooting data and interface issues.
• Participate in technology projects, including requirements gathering, testing, Quality Assurance (QA), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.
• Apply cybersecurity controls and policies in daily operations in coordination with the Cybersecurity team.
• Follow change, incident, and problem management processes.
• Coordinate with technology vendors on support tickets, maintenance, and service delivery.
• Support user onboarding and offboarding, and provide basic IT training and guidance to employees.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience in Information Technology.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and support procedures.
• Experience maintaining IT asset inventory and software license records.
• Capability to support the preparation of reports and data extracts for business and management needs.
• Familiarity with supporting internal audits and regulatory examinations by providing evidence and documentation.
• Proficiency in reporting suspected security incidents promptly in line with company procedures.
• Skill in monitoring vendor performance against agreed service levels and reporting issues.

Work Environment and Reporting

The Information Technology Specialist will work in a full-time capacity in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves close collaboration with business users, the Cybersecurity team, and various technology vendors. The specialist will report directly to the IT Manager, contributing to a technology-enabled organizational structure.
