About the Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking an Instock Manager Strategic Initiatives MENA to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role involves building new business initiatives from the ground up within the MENA A-Now team, focusing on the grocery sector. The position requires a self-starter who can quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and take ownership of program elements.

Role Context and Objectives

The Instock Manager will be responsible for understanding complex business, technology, and operations processes at Amazon and its partners to devise optimal engagement models. The role requires the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, navigate ambiguity, and manage competing priorities. Key aspects include influencing internal and external stakeholders, developing buying and sourcing strategies for new categories, ensuring flawless execution, and continuously analyzing metrics to drive business improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily inventory health metrics and accuracy.
• Drive strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess/aged inventory.
• Implement and maintain inventory control processes.
• Monitor shrinkage and damage rates.
• Analyze historical data to predict future inventory needs.
• Create demand forecasts and recommend order quantities.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with operations, transportation, and procurement teams.
• Drive alignment between planning and execution teams.
• Escalate and resolve inventory-related issues across networks.
• Lead projects to improve instock performance.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
• Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and coach team members on inventory management best practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated high judgment and analytical talent.
• Proven ability to write clear and concise documents.
• Experience in an entrepreneurial environment, managing ambiguity and competing priorities.
