Arabia Insurance Cooperative Company (AICC) is a prominent name in the insurance sector, with a legacy dating back to 1951. Officially established in Saudi Arabia in 2007, the company operates under the supervision of the Insurance Authority and provides diverse insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Support Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on a full-time basis. This role reports directly to the IT Director.

The Role

The IT Infrastructure & Support Manager is responsible for overseeing all internal and external IT activities related to infrastructure, service management, governance, monitoring, and continuity. This critical role defines and provides overarching IT infrastructure and service management to meet operational requirements, ensuring robust and secure IT operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for this position include:

• Manage and maintain the overall IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and redundancy for all infrastructure nodes.
• Oversee the installation and configuration of network infrastructure, systems, VOIP, mail systems, and security devices for central and remote locations.
• Ensure secure communication for AICC by implementing secure gateways, encryption, and other available methods.
• Evaluate IT infrastructure capacity to ensure optimum system performance and provide recommendations for enhancements.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement new IT infrastructure projects and solutions.
• Manage, mentor, and coach Systems and Network staff, assigning tasks and overseeing implementations and upgrades.
• Review and participate in the design and implementation of all communication, network, and IT security systems for the Head Office, branches, and Points of Sale (POS).
• Verify that network and system installations comply with relevant information security requirements.
• Assist in resolving technical problems and promptly notify the IT Director of network or system failures, taking appropriate corrective actions.
• Abide by and continuously monitor the implementation of risk and compliance requirements to protect company information and control threats.
• Follow up on clients’ inquiries and requests to ensure prompt and efficient service provision.
• Provide accurate and updated data for reporting purposes to support sound decision-making.
• Adhere strictly to AICC's policies and procedures to ensure risk-free processes and error-free outcomes.
• Communicate regularly with internal and external parties using proficient oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess:

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure and support management.

Scope of Authority and Accountability

This role involves strategic planning, presenting, managing, and supporting projects related to infrastructure and operations, including assisting the IT Director with planning dialogues. The manager is directly responsible for the Data Center, Disaster Recovery (DR) site, and Branches IT Infrastructure. The position operates within standardized work routines, practices, and procedures with well-communicated work instructions, requiring the job holder to make routine decisions within their scope and refer to direct supervision for guidance.
