About NextEra and the Role

NextEra is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager (Government & Giga Projects) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience and focuses on leading the delivery of large-scale IT Services engagements for Government entities, Giga Projects, and enterprise customers across the region.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing a blended portfolio of Cloud Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, Digital Transformation, and Managed Services projects. This involves overseeing complex project portfolios, large delivery teams, project financials, governance, risks, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project delivery and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of Cloud Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, and Managed Services projects.
• Develop project plans, delivery roadmaps, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and governance frameworks.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects and programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations.
• Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, issues, and change requests, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure delivery within agreed scope, timelines, budget, quality standards, and contractual commitments.
• Oversee transition, transformation, and steady-state Managed Services engagements, ensuring delivery of SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Lead strategic delivery engagements for Government entities, Public Sector organizations, and Giga Projects, managing complex stakeholder environments.
• Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, security, and contractual requirements for all projects.
• Manage high-value project portfolios, including budget, revenue, profitability, and resource utilization.
• Prepare executive-level project and portfolio status reports and maintain financial forecasts.
• Lead and manage large cross-functional teams of at least 30+ resources across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers and key stakeholders, conducting steering committee meetings and executive briefings.
• Establish project governance structures, delivery controls, and reporting mechanisms, implementing risk management and quality assurance practices.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience delivering Cloud Infrastructure, Enterprise Applications, Digital Transformation, and Managed Services engagements.
• Experience managing large-scale Government, Public Sector, or Giga Project programs.
• Demonstrated track record of managing high-value project portfolios with significant budget responsibilities.
• Proven experience leading delivery teams of 30 or more professionals.
• Experience working within IT Services, System Integration, Consulting, or Managed Services environments.

The successful candidate will drive team performance through coaching, mentoring, and capability development, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and customer-focused delivery. This role involves building and maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of stakeholder satisfaction, and managing escalations to drive timely issue resolution.
