About the Role

Unilever is seeking a Key Accounts Assistant Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for sales, negotiation, and order facilitation for assigned customers at the store level, aligning with the Customer Business Plan (CBP) and channel strategy. The position involves building effective customer relationships, addressing target gaps, and identifying growth opportunities.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to drive business growth by managing customer accounts effectively. This includes understanding customer operations, executing sales strategies, and ensuring the efficient processing of orders and related administrative tasks. The Key Accounts Assistant Manager will contribute to achieving business objectives by optimizing trade spend and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver the Customer Business Plan and develop corrective actions for performance shortfalls or upsides based on short-term plan execution.
Sell and negotiate within agreed parameters set by the NKAM/KAM for the customer relationship strategy.
Manage the end-to-end sales process within relevant stores, including pricing, order placement, delivery, and all associated administration.
Optimize the claims management process for assigned customers, ensuring end-to-end TTS process execution from forecasting to accrual, claim receipt and validation, dispute resolution, and timely customer payments.
Ensure Perfect Store execution by Field Sales through data analysis of PS scores and integrate learnings into ongoing improvements.
Plan and execute promotional and non-promotional activities.
Manage total trade spend, terms and conditions, and transfer of funds and budgets in alignment with business objectives.
Determine tactics, frequency, and other promotional attributes, leveraging TPO to optimize plans for customers/region.
Review the promotional plan with a focus on pre-evaluation of all TTS spend to ensure activities maximize ROI.
Confirm promotional details with the customer, identify opportunistic promotional activity, and manage changes to rebates and live rates (terms, conditions, funds overspend, term payment approval).
Analyze profit pools and review CCD building blocks (non-promotional plan).
Update the annual plan through monthly review of the promotional grid, which feeds the S&OP cycle (volume and TTS).

Qualifications and Experience

Proven negotiation track record at a Customer Facing Management level.
Experience working across multiple business teams.
Ability to balance multiple priorities effectively.
5-10 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires collaboration with various business teams and direct interaction with customers at the store level.
