About Altanfeethi and the Role

Altanfeethi is seeking a Lead Applications Development Specialist (Mobile App & Web) to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading the technical implementation of digital solutions across mobile and web platforms, ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable software delivery within a dynamic environment.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to translate approved solution designs into robust, high-quality software implementations. The specialist will be responsible for applying established architecture standards and design principles, ensuring that all digital platforms deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical implementation of mobile and web application features by translating approved solution designs into scalable, maintainable, and production-ready code.
• Apply architecture standards and design principles, implementing clean architecture patterns and ensuring separation of concerns across application layers.
• Develop and maintain high-quality React/React Native and .NET codebases, adhering to coding standards, reusable component design, and structured version control practices.
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and development tasks through collaboration with Business Analysts and architects.
• Identify technical dependencies, integration requirements, and implementation risks by analyzing system interactions and API contracts.
• Conduct code reviews and apply quality controls, validating performance, maintainability, and adherence to defined standards.
• Implement and maintain unit and integration testing practices to ensure reliability, defect reduction, and stable releases.
• Optimize application performance and reliability at the code level by improving API interactions, database efficiency, client rendering, and resource utilization.
• Apply secure development practices, implementing authentication, authorization, data validation, and secure coding standards.
• Support production stability by troubleshooting complex issues and contributing to root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong exposure to both mobile and web technologies.
• Demonstrated experience leading the technical implementation of complex digital applications.
• Experience working within Agile or Sprint delivery environments, such as DevOps.
• Exposure to integration-heavy systems and API-driven architectures.

Technical Expertise

The role requires strong proficiency in React/React Native and .NET codebases. Candidates should possess practical experience with clean architecture patterns, secure development practices, and robust testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing. Familiarity with Agile/Sprint delivery environments and API-driven architectures is essential for success in this position.
