Life Guard

About the Role

The Luxury Collection is seeking a Life Guard to join their team in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves ensuring the safety of swimmers and maintaining the recreation facility, promoting a fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests while adhering to company standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply appropriate rescue techniques when swimmers require assistance.
• Monitor the swimming area for dangerous conditions, unusual activities, and struggling swimmers.
• Enforce the rules and regulations of the recreation facility.
• Identify situations where guests may be unable to safely participate in an activity and inform management.
• Provide initial assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome guests according to company standards, ensuring a professional appearance.
• Anticipate and address guest service needs, including assisting individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues.
• Support co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect.
• Obtain, fold, and stack towels as per company procedures.
• Clean and maintain the pool deck, including washing and mopping.

Physical Requirements

• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
• Move at speeds necessary to respond to work situations (*, running, walking, jogging).
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 75 pounds with assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as ladders, stairs, and service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: 0-1 year of related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this role.

This is a full-time position based in Ad Diriyah, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active engagement in a recreation facility setting, ensuring guest safety and satisfaction.
