About the Logistic Coordinator Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Logistic Coordinator Saudi National to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with 5 to 10 years of experience to coordinate and support construction logistics across a significant infrastructure project. The role is integral to ensuring efficient and well-controlled logistics arrangements within a complex operational environment.

Project Context and Scope

The Logistic Coordinator will operate within a complex airport and infrastructure setting, where construction activities frequently interface with operational areas, restricted zones, existing infrastructure, and multiple contractors. This position is critical for maintaining safe, efficient, and controlled logistics to support all construction activities effectively, minimizing impact on ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day construction logistics activities, including material deliveries, site access, unloading, storage, and distribution.
• Develop and manage delivery schedules in coordination with contractors, suppliers, and construction teams, including booking and vehicle access arrangements.
• Manage and monitor laydown areas, temporary storage yards, staging areas, and material handling zones.
• Coordinate internal construction traffic movements, approved vehicle routes, and support the implementation of Site Traffic Management Plans.
• Ensure construction logistics activities comply with applicable airport security, safety, and operational requirements, especially in airside, landside, restricted, and security-controlled areas.
• Coordinate with HSE teams to ensure safe delivery, unloading, storage, handling, and movement of materials and equipment, verifying adherence to approved Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Support logistics planning for major construction milestones and high-volume delivery periods, identifying and resolving logistics conflicts between different contractors.
• Coordinate the removal of construction waste, surplus materials, and debris, and support waste removal and recycling logistics.
• Maintain accurate logistics layouts, access plans, schedules, registers, and records, and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly logistics reports and status updates.
• Support coordination during project mobilization, major construction phases, testing, commissioning, demobilization, and final site clearance activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in construction logistics, site logistics coordination, construction operations, or infrastructure project delivery.
• Proven experience on major airport, infrastructure, transportation, or large-scale construction projects.
• Experience coordinating multiple contractors, suppliers, transporters, and construction work fronts.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

• Strong understanding of construction site access, material delivery, storage, traffic movement, and logistics planning.
• Ability to coordinate logistics requirements for large, oversized, heavy, and specialist equipment deliveries.
• Knowledge of site congestion monitoring and identification of potential logistics constraints.
• Experience with airport or airside logistics is highly preferred.
