Logistics Officer

About the Role

Brkz is seeking a Logistics Officer to manage ground operations in Riyadh. This full-time role involves ensuring the smooth flow of construction materials from factories and supplier yards to customer job sites across the Kingdom. The Logistics Officer will manage daily dispatch operations, negotiate transport rates, and expand the transporter network while ensuring documentation accuracy and operational compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and dispatch daily shipments of various materials, including bulk, cement, flatbed loads, and heavy haulage, to ensure on-time delivery to customer sites.
• Continuously source, qualify, and onboard local transport providers to establish a robust multi-transporter network across all trade lanes in Saudi Arabia.
• Negotiate freight and haulage rates, develop competitive lane-by-lane rate cards, and optimize freight costs per unit while maintaining service reliability.
• Oversee delivery notes (DN), weight tickets, and factory loading orders (including FASAH for cement), and accurately reconcile delivered quantities against Purchase Orders (POs) and transporter invoices.
• Collaborate with BRKZ Operations, Account Managers, Finance, and Supplier teams to resolve field issues promptly and prevent delivery bottlenecks.
• Utilize internal dashboards, route planning, and fleet platforms (BOB, OPS Portal, Metabase) for real-time shipment monitoring and tracking driver performance metrics.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage daily dispatch operations and coordinate fleet activities.
• Experience in negotiating transport rates and building a network of transport providers.
• Understanding of Saudi Arabia’s road freight ecosystem.
