We are seeking a Logistics Optimization Assistant Manager to join our full-time team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The Logistics Optimization Assistant Manager Role

This role is central to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our delivery operations. The Logistics Optimization Assistant Manager will focus on refining logistics processes, improving delivery metrics, and ensuring a superior customer and rider experience. This position involves strategic analysis, algorithm optimization, and the implementation of new operational models to drive continuous improvement across our delivery network.

Key Responsibilities: Logistics Optimization

• Reduce overall delivery time from order dispatch through all stages until completion, monitoring more than seven stages and associated time KPIs.
• Increase on-time deliveries by enhancing system estimations, improving accuracy, and minimizing outliers.
• Optimize the dispatch algorithm to ensure the fastest delivery times and reduce early order cancellations.
• Analyze customer delivery experience and enhance all factors impacting the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Optimize stacked orders to ensure efficient order grouping while maintaining a high customer experience.
• Optimize the Cost Per Order (CPO) for stacked orders, focusing on smart cost reduction strategies.
• Study, prepare, and implement the transition of cities from an on-demand working model to a shift-based model.
• Optimize forecasting for shift cities, rider demand estimations, zoning, and slot availability.
• Systematically optimize all shift city setups to ensure seamless operations for riders.
• Lead new initiatives, such as the acquisition of college students as freelance riders for the HungerStation fleet.
• Enhance daily rider performance through the optimization of Issue Service and Rooster Compliance tools.

General Operations and People Management

• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and processes to ensure controlled and consistent daily work execution.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, practices, work methods, cost-effectiveness, and productivity.
• Promote and ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and instructions among team members.
• Execute daily operational tasks to maintain work continuity.
• Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports relevant to the role's objectives and standards.
• Ensure satisfaction for both internal and external customers by addressing their needs courteously and promptly.
• Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent for the department.
• Manage, guide, and assist direct reports in performing their functional operations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Set performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate team performance, and offer regular feedback.
• Foster a high-performance working environment and promote the organization’s values.

Candidate Profile and Experience

Candidates for the Logistics Optimization Assistant Manager position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong analytical mindset and a proven track record in logistics, operations, or a related field, with a focus on process optimization and team leadership.
