Maintenance Technician

About the Role

Al Safi Danone is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for maintaining filling, packaging, and dairy process equipment through effective preventive and corrective maintenance activities. The position focuses on ensuring operational performance and equipment availability across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on filling, packaging, and dairy process equipment.
• Diagnose equipment faults and execute necessary repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
• Ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime through effective maintenance practices.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Support production teams in resolving technical issues affecting operations.
• Execute maintenance work orders according to schedules and priorities.
• Monitor equipment performance and contribute to improving operational efficiency.

Safety and Compliance

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by strictly following safety standards, procedures, and site regulations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational policies at all times.

Troubleshooting and Improvement

• Assist in improving equipment performance and reliability through effective troubleshooting techniques.
• Identify opportunities to enhance maintenance processes and equipment performance.
• Support initiatives that improve operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and cost control.
• Contribute to continuous improvement programs within the maintenance department.

Resource Management

• Ensure proper utilization of maintenance tools, materials, and resources.
• Support spare parts monitoring and report shortages as required.
• Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant maintenance role.
• Proven ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for equipment failures.
