The Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC), located in Riyadh, is seeking a Contract Management Team Lead. This full-time position is integral to managing procurement activities, standardizing processes, and developing robust vendor and contract management strategies within the organization.

Role Overview and Objectives

The Contract Management Team Lead will play a critical role in ensuring efficiency, transparency, and compliance across all procurement and supply agreements. The position focuses on optimizing contractual relationships, leveraging local content opportunities, and maintaining business continuity through effective management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities and standardize processes to optimize efficiency, ensure transparency, and negotiate favorable vendor terms, delivering quality and timely supply agreements.
• Formulate a robust vendor management strategy, source qualified suppliers, evaluate performance, and maintain business continuity through effective contract management.
• Oversee purchasing across the organization, including creating purchase and service orders, developing a comprehensive procurement catalogue, and implementing a category management framework.
• Manage local content initiatives by identifying local suppliers, negotiating agreements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leveraging opportunities to enhance local purchasing.
• Formulate and oversee centralized contract management from initiation to closeout, ensuring compliance with terms, managing amendments, and aligning with company interests.

Required Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is considered a significant advantage.

Experience and Work Type

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in contract management, procurement, or a related field. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh.
