About the Role

King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital in Riyadh is seeking a Manager of Corporate Communication. This full-time role involves leading and overseeing the Corporate Communication function, ensuring alignment with the hospital’s strategic objectives and management direction. The position focuses on promoting and protecting the hospital’s image and reputation, maintaining consistent institutional messaging, and fostering effective engagement with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement communication plans, programs, and initiatives that align with the hospital’s strategic objectives.
  • Manage internal and external communication activities, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality of institutional messages across all channels.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of hospital and media content, including press releases, news, announcements, executive messages, presentations, and reports.
  • Coordinate media relations, including inquiries, interviews, and media coverage, in accordance with established protocols.
  • Support the development and protection of the hospital’s image and reputation, monitoring relevant media coverage and public communication.
  • Coordinate content published through the hospital’s digital channels, website, and social media platforms.
  • Develop and implement internal communication initiatives to enhance employee awareness and engagement.
  • Support senior management in preparing executive communications, speeches, and materials for major events and strategic initiatives.
  • Coordinate with hospital departments to validate information prior to publication, ensuring accuracy and alignment with approved messages.
  • Support the development and implementation of crisis communication plans and coordinate responses during incidents affecting reputation.
  • Coordinate communication and media coverage for hospital events, conferences, campaigns, and official activities.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government entities and media representatives.
  • Ensure compliance with the hospital’s identity, communication guidelines, policies, and standards across all materials.
  • Establish and monitor communication performance indicators, evaluate campaign effectiveness, and prepare periodic reports.
  • Lead and supervise section employees, assigning responsibilities, monitoring performance, and supporting staff development.
  • Participate in and support quality improvement and patient safety activities.
  • Respect patients and their families to promote a patient-centered care culture.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience is required for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital.
