Role Summary

The Manager - OT Infra-Structure, Hosting & Connectivity leads Ma'aden’s systems and controls function. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent standards, safe operation, and effective performance of industrial control systems across all sites. The Manager acts as the primary authority for control systems, maintaining reliable, standardized, and well-governed Operational Technology (OT) environments throughout operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise roadmap for OT systems and controls, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and control system integrations.
• Guide system selection, configuration standards, and upgrade strategies for control platforms.
• Support site teams in the deployment and maintenance of compliant control systems.
• Promote safe-by-design control system architectures and operating practices.
• Support performance monitoring, diagnostics, and continuous improvement initiatives for control systems.
• Lead root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions for control system reliability issues.

OT Systems and Integration Leadership

• Own OT systems and controls standards, encompassing PLC, DCS, SCADA, MES integration, and control system governance.
• Design and deploy 'closed loop by default' systems to advance Autonomous operations beyond conventional Advanced Process Controls (APC’s).
• Define control system integration standards with OT infrastructure, data platforms, and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with OT Infrastructure, Storage, Networking & Connectivity teams to ensure control systems are deployable and operable.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in industrial control systems and OT environments. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required, demonstrating expertise in managing and governing complex OT infrastructure and control systems.
