About the Role

Esnad Contracting is seeking a Material Expediter to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is essential for ensuring the timely availability of materials for various projects, requiring close coordination across multiple departments and with external suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Track purchase orders and monitor material delivery schedules effectively.
Follow up with suppliers regarding manufacturing progress, inspections, shipping, and delivery dates.
Identify potential delays, material shortages, and supply chain risks, escalating issues as necessary.
Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, Warehouse, Logistics, and Project teams to ensure timely material availability.
Expedite critical and long-lead materials to meet project deadlines.
Maintain accurate material tracking logs, supplier commitments, and outstanding delivery records.
Coordinate material inspections, shipping documents, packing lists, and delivery requirements.
Prepare regular material status reports and provide progress updates to management.
Follow up on corrective actions to resolve delayed or incomplete deliveries.

Qualifications and Experience

A Diploma or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
2–5 years of relevant experience in material expediting, procurement, logistics, or supply chain operations.
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or contracting projects is preferred.
Good understanding of purchase orders, supplier coordination, and material delivery processes.

Required Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is an advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and reporting skills.

This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time schedule. The Material Expediter will work within a dynamic team environment, collaborating with various departments to ensure project success.
